In this guide, we will show you the steps to check the Play Integrity Test from the Play Store. In the last few years, even tech enthusiasts think twice before rooting their devices. The reason for the same lies in two words: Play Integrity. As soon as you root the device, it will end up failing two or all three tests of this integrity: Device, Basic, and Strong. So, is there a way out?

Well, you can pass the Device and Basic test simply by flashing a few modules, but when it comes to Strong, you’ll need an unrevoked keybox XML file. Not only is it extremely hard to find such a file, but it tends to get patched by Google within a few days! And this cycle goes on. As soon as this file is revoked, your device will fail the Strong Test, and beginning with May 2025, it will also fail the Device Test because the latest change has made the keybox XML file mandatory even for the latter.

So, how to verify if the keybox file has been revoked? Well, there are quite a few ways through which you can perform this test. including third-party apps like Play Integrity API Checker. However, when there are quite a few requests thrown at it [aka when many users are checking at the same time], then it isn’t able to perform the check.

And this isn’t the only one plagued with this issue- all third-party apps fall into this bracket. So what else can be done? Well, you can check the Play Integrity Test directly from the Play Store as well. And in this guide, we will show you how to do just that. So without further ado, let’s get started.
