In this guide, we will show you the steps to unbrick your OnePlus device running Android 15. There have been quite a lot of changes going on in the custom development in the recent months, and most of them wouldn’t be categorized as good news. While we are finally able to get hold of a couple of unbrick tools for OnePlus 11 and higher devices [Oppo Flash Tool and OPlus Flash Tool], however, both of these tools will no longer work if you have ever updated your device to Android 15.
It doesn’t matter on which OS version your device was bricked, if it has even got a taste of Android 15, then you wouldn’t be able to use the aforementioned unbrick tools. Fortunately, though, these things only apply to an unbricked device and not to those that are currently stuck in the bootloop, Fastboot Mode, or are in a softbrick state. So if your device is part of the latter group, then there exists a nifty method using which you can bring your device back to life. So, without further ado, let’s show you how this could be carried out.
Unbrick OnePlus Android 15: Fix Bootloop/Softbrick Issues
The below process will wipe off all the data from your device [not that you are in a position to take a backup, still, it was worth mentioning]. Droidwin and its members wouldn’t be held responsible in case of a thermonuclear war, your alarm doesn’t wake you up, or if anything happens to your device, and data by performing the below steps.
As already mentioned above, this method will only work on softbrick and bootlooped devices [aka the ones that can access the Fastboot Mode, one way or the other]. If your device is in the EDL Mode [Qualcomm HS USB QDLoader 9008], then unfortunately, this method will not work, and you’ll have to wait until a new tool gets live or the existing ones are unpatched.

- Then install it via its EXE file. Now launch it and go to the Firmware Unpacker tab [the second last option].
- Click on File Picker and select the entire firmware ZIP. Then select Full under Mode.
- Now click Press to Unpack. It will extract the payload.bin file.
- Once done, you’ll be notified of the same.
- Now go to the Flashing tab and click Press to Flash. The flashing will now start in Fastboot Mode.
- You’ll then get a prompt that the tool wants to boot the device to FastbootD Mode. Click OK and your device will boot to FastbootD.
- It will warn you not to interact with the device while flashing, click OK. The flashing will then start in FastbootD Mode.
- Once done, you’ll be notified of the same. Hit Reboot Device and your device will boot to the OS.
