First off, you’ll have to get hold of the param.bin file from a T-Mobile OnePlus user. This is because the target ID is stored in the param.bin partition. So they can dump this partition from their device either via the MSM Download Tool’s Readback mode or via the adb shell command [that also requires root]. If you are on the OnePlus 9 Pro, then you can use this file shared by XDA Senior Member TheGhost1951. Once you have got the file, proceed with the below steps:
- Download and extract Android SDK Platform Tools on your PC.
- Next up transfer the param.bin file to this platform-tools folder.
- Then enable USB Debugging & OEM Unlocking on your device.
- Now, unlock the bootloader on your device [take a backup first].
- Then open Command Prompt inside platform-tools and type in:
adb reboot fastboot
- Your device will boot to FastbootD Mode.
- Now type in the below command to flash the param.bin file.
fastboot flash param param.bin
- Finally, use the below command to boot to the OS:
fastboot reboot
- You may now use the T-Mobile MSM Tool without any issue.
